I stick with White meats - Tuna, Chicken, pork (Lean meats) I don’t ever really count the calories per say I do use Portion sizes - Calorie amounts for meat, poultry, fish, beans and other protein rich foods range from 35-75 calories per 1 ounce serving. Bake, Broil, roast and grill (best choices) for cooking.

1 ounce serving is about the size of a medium egg.
3 ounce serving is about the size of a deck of cards
4 ounce serving is about the size of a women’s palm

I'm at about 1400 calories a day - depending on exercise - so I have a allowance for 6oz of protein a day.
'Hope this helped a little bit –
