Hello all!
Im looking for some recipes that are keto friendly so i dont get bored eating the same meals every day.

Im using the Keto//OS from Pruvit. Its an exogenous ketone product that elevates ketone levels in the blood. So i don't have to go low carb for it to work, but I've decided to go low carb anyways just to get the most out of it.

For more info on the keto os see this video

But anyways, if anyone has any recipes or resources to help me find new recipes so i can spice up my meal plans that would be great. I like to prep up some meals for thw week on sundays so all i have to do is grab a tupperware from the fridge and head out the door to work.

Thanks in advance everyone!

Try joining the Low Carber Daily MFP group for ideas. Or hit the Recipes forum.

I'm curious why you are taking exogenous ketones. Are you pursuing ketones for therapeutic reasons? What are you expecting them to help you with?

To help build muscle while burning fat. I want to get in better shape. I play basketball and I want to join a competitive league.

So you are hoping for an extra energy boost while your body adapts to fat burning after being in ketosis for a while?

Leucine increases may help with muscle building, although many find they have better gains with slightly higher carbs due to increased insulin levels. Muscle building while in a deficit will be slower going too, but it is doable.

Ketones can supply a steadier energy source, so that may help with your goal of getting into shape.

I play rec b-ball too, but my competitive days are past me. I'm just happy that I can keep up to my teenaged boys. ;)

TBH, I don't think you need exogenous ketones for any of that. If you are eating very low carb (below 50g of carbs per day with exercise) you'll be in ketosis anyways.

Check out Phinney and Volek's The Art and Science of Low Carbohydrate Performance for more info. Greenfield has a book on LCHF performance too. Also, Peter Attia has a really good blog that LCHF athletes could find useful.

    Good luck! :)
