Meal Prep advice

Looking for any recipe's, tips, suggestions, really anything in regards to meal prep would be nice!

best advice is make something that u actually like! i see so many people making chicken and veggies over and over again and they get tired of it and they fall off their journey...
One thing that i meal prep and love it steak fajitas... its easy to make and its healthy...
also for breakfast i love to make overnight oats... look at pinterest there is a million different recipes... there easy to make and its easy to just pull out the fridge and eat...

I start with my store circular to see what is on sale and go vegetarian at least one day a week. Then I look up recipes with those ingredients.1

I'm not good at meal prep. My meal preferences can change and I may not want what I prepared. I do like to keep grilled or broiled chicken strips on hand that I have cooked and re-heat it and put it on salads or eat with veggies through the week. Keeping a Rotisserie chicken on hand to eat on for a few days is good too.1

I like to grill and/or smoke meat on the weekends. I portion it out and vacuum seal them for dinners during the week. Throw in a bag of microwaveable veggies and dinner usually takes about 10 minutes.3

I usually pick one protein for the week because it seems easier for me. Example: Sunday I bake a bunch of chicken and then weigh it and separate into tupperware. Then I fix each one a little differently so I don't get bored. -add salsa and brown rice to one, add lettuce to make a salad to another, etc...
I also make a bunch of protein pancakes over the weekend and freeze them - they're easy to grab and pop in the toaster or microwave.

Possibly my two favorites are...
~ Ground beef cooked with either Mexican or Italian flavors, or neutral s & p.
~ Meatballs.
The ground beef is so versatile and flexible. I kicked myself for waiting so long to do this. I use 93/7 organic grass fed beef that I buy in the family pack to save $. Beef's always been one of my top foods for satiety, so eating it regulary makes cutting calories much easier for me.

+1 on the ground meats (I go with turkey instead of beef).
If you are just starting out with meal prepping, and the idea of doing a full week's worth of meals is a little intimidating, start out by targeting the one "problem" meal you have each day. For many of us (myself included) it's dinner--by the time we get home the last thing we wanna do is saddle up and make something healthy.
Also, there's an endless number of ways to cook/season chicken and your meals. Meal boredom is an easy excuse for falling off.1 -
