My daily calories are 1500, a lot I the time I'm under this & exercise most days. Should I be having less ?

    No, you should be hitting your calorie target...and likely eating more with exercise, depending on how you arrived at that target.

    I'm not sure why you think you should be eating less when you've specifically been given a target. Eat more, even if it's peanut butter with a spoon, some string cheese/yogurt, nuts and seeds (separate or with food).

    A GOAL is something you should try and reach. That's why it is called a goal. You don't want to be extremely under your goal and working out on top of it. You might want to read some of the stickies at the top of the page so you better understand how MFP is designed to work. Good luck!

    Do you weigh your food on scales?

    Thanks ! I eat regularly , sometimes go over 1500. New to all this. Good advice. Cheers everyone

    Yes I'm losing weight slowly. I don't weigh my food.
