New and Very Clueless

Hey, I'm McKenzie I've been heavier and overweight all my life. I've alwaya struggled with losing weight and keeping it off and staying on tract. I would do really well for about 6 monthes and then fall off. But all the while I'm not really to sure what to do with nutrition and what would be best. I always seem to lose motivation, while having family and people around me saying I can't do it,makes it difficult for me. I'm also looking for people to tall to and help to keep me motivated. So if anyone has advice or wants to add me I'd really appreciate it

Welcome! What are your weight lose goals? What's your activity level look like?
I am in the same boat, always been overweight. Been "dieting" for 15yrs on and off. Always seem to self sabotage.

The first covers accurate logging and some of the tools in MFP to help you make things easier. The second discusses caloric needs and setting goals. This one is a little heavier but if you take the time to digest it there is alot of very valuable information there. These two posts completely changed my MFP experience and helped me be much more successful, so I hope they do the same for you.
