I work out almost everyday in order to burn enough calories and i underestimate how much i burn all the time. I also do not eat more than my weekly caloric intake each week. If i go over i make sure i burn it off with exercise. I feel that in this 3rd week my body needs more calories and i am overtraining because i am eating more and therefore have to workout out longer and harder to burn it off. I dont know if i should take a break from exercise and let my weekly caloric intake be higher this week and i am scared it will set me back. Anyone else go through this?

What are your height, weight, age, activity level outside of exercise, and how much do you exercise (what kind of exercise, how many days a week, for how long)? And what is your goal weight.

I currently weigh 150lbs at 5'3. I have been in sports my whole life and i do some resistance training with hiit and general cardio mixed in usually 1 hr a day but lately sometimes 2 hrs a day. I make sure i have a yoga session once a week as well. I am at 21% body fat and am just trying to lose some fat mostly off my midsection but a little bit on my legs as well. I have notoced a difference but it is so hard for me to lose fat around my waist.

What weight loss goal did you enter into MFP? If you can't stick to it, then lower it to a half pound a week, and make sure you are eating food that will fill you up (higher protein and higher fat works for me). It's also possible that you have entered too low of activity level.

The best weight loss plan is one you can stick with until you reach your goal, and one that easily transitions into maintenance.

You can't out-train a bad diet... Your diary is closed so it's difficult to give feedback on what you're eating/how much you're burning.

Did you get your calorie goal from mfp or a tdee calculation?

So to answer your question yes you are overworking and overeating. Currently based on what I'm reading your body is all out of whack and to realign yourself to your weight loss goals try this and then maybe if you want to do more with me I can write you up a diet and workout program tailored to you

Intermittent fast for 2 days ( have coffee or unsweetened tea in the morning, your fist meal will be around noon and last meal around 5-6) and workout only one of those days and then switch to one day on one day off workout routine.

Let me know if this helps and then we can move forward to getting you a program.
