This thread is for anyone who rides a bike. Do you bike to work? Do you pull your children to the park? So you ride weekends? Do you spin, at home or the gym? Do you race crits, ironman, or centuries? Or, are you just starting out and remembering how much fun you had biking when you were a kid? However you choose to push your pedal, you are welcome on this thread.

I'm in again. My goal will be 550km in March; which was my Feb goal. We shall see if I can hit it. Though my bike is probably out of commission for a few days. Yesterday while riding on the trainer my chain ended up like this... not even sure how that happened, thankfully I got it unstuck but the back derailleur is now touching the cassette, so gotta do some repairs.
On top of that my winter bike is also out of commission, there's some weird creaking happening. So... what a way to start March!0 -
@ending_start That's a pretty hideous thing to have happen with the chain! Hope you get it worked out soon!
I'm in for March. My goal is a bit dialed back because I'm going to have fewer days on the bike (but noticeably harder training days). 300 miles is the goal.0 -
@pedermj2002 Yea, I had no clue what happened. It seems the derailleur might have been the issue. Hoping to have it resolved tonight.. fingers crossed.0

I'm joining in. I haven't done much as far as biking goes in the last couple of years. So much has gotten in the way including health, plus I kept trying to get back to running as well. I know now, running is indefinitely out, so I want to focus on this again. I currently am using the stationary recumbent at the gym. I hope to get fitted for a nice bike over the Spring and Summer this year.
My goal for March is 50 miles.

I'm in for 350 miles this time.
Now it's getting lighter in the evenings here I'm hoping to do more riding outside rather than inside.
Clocks go forward towards the end of March so will probably wait until then so I'll have enough light to do a couple of hours in evenings after work. Good luck to all.

Getting out most weekends now. Yay!
Temperature at last in the range where my silly fingers and toes will maintain some circulation....
Spent some money on a new helmet, more aerodynamic and with a built in visor - noticeably less wind noise is a nice bonus.
