Hi guys,
I just picked up some vitamins to add to my daily regimen, and I wanted to gauge everyone else's experience with them. They are supposed to help with bone density, metabolism, and energy. Has anyone noticed a difference once they began taking vitamins? Did you actually feel an energy boost?

I don't feel anything in particular but the gummy vitamins sure give me the satisfaction when I crave candies! :)

I take vitamin D. 2000U everyday. My level was low the doc recommended it. I feel better taking it. Oh and I take vitamin C 2000 mg when I feel like I'm gonna catch a cold. It works wonders for me.

I would highly doubt they would do anthing for metabolism. Maybe energy if they have caffeine. And I assume bone density would be correlated to calcium.

What supplement are you actually taking?

I started taking Jamieson 100% complete for women. My hand eczema went on hiatus the first 3 days of taking it, then returned for a full 50 episode season.

We're using Centrum Multivitamin/Multimineral Adult. There used to be a Centrum for Women, for Men, under 50, and Over 50. Now we just see this one, so we both use the same.

Not sure how to describe the feeling but I think it helped us. Supplements are intended to provide what the body isn't getting enough of through food, not necessarily to give a Superwoman or Superman feeling.

I take cod fish oil called Lýsi, multi vitamins, additional D vitamin and calcium. (Even though studies show that calcium only matter when you're growing up and won't do anything once you've grown and lifting helps more to keep the bones strong.) And I find that I feel better if all day if I take the fish oil but the other things really don't matter... It's the fish oil that keeps me going

Nothing helps my energy as much as a good night's sleep, and I can't remember if I felt more energy once I started taking a multivitamin. I just like to play it safe and have everything covered. I did notice that my hair has gotten longer. I'm not sure if it's better hair products or the vitamins.
I do want to say though, that I don't bother looking specifically for women vitamins anymore. The labels for regular adult and women vitamins are very similar (at least among the brands I browse), so I just buy what's cheapest.
