Hey... What is an NSV??

I have been reading through various posts and i have noticed a few that use the term NSV in the title. Can't work out what it is, could somebody tell me??

    Non-Scale Victory.

    Basically, it's any measure of your success that doesn't involve seeing the scale go down. It might be a compliment,passing up the cake at work, running yoru first mile,needing to buy new clothes because the old ones are now too large, etc.

    I didn't know what that meant either.. I figured it was a victory of some sort but now I know!
