That. I've lost more, and more quickly many years ago but it involved a ton of restrictions, being difficult with family meals and a whole lot of stress. Wish I had MFP and a Vivofit 20 years ago. I try to remind myself of this when I get discouraged. It's not a race, right? As long as we keep moving forward.

This week I am cutting out sugar in my coffee (usually have 3 - 4 cups a day) and making sure I eat a meal in the evenings. I meal prep for my lunches in work and then I run/cycle in the evenings and when I get home I don't have an appetite to eat - which I know is BAD. So I'm making an effort to make sure I eat. #

Hmm. Seem to have lost a little more than expected in the first week. If I hit my target early I will probably just eat at maintenance for a week.

@Chris_B89 if you reach your 5lbs goal early instead of eating maintenance why don't you just keep on doing what your doing? See if you can get that little bit closer to your ultimate goal?
