I made myself a promise to lose weight and be healthier so I started counting calories and the weight literally fell off. I've lost 26 lbs since Jan 1. So the past week or so I added more activity to the mix, thinking I'd lose even more if I got my heart rate up and ate healthy (no more than 1750 calories a day). But no, I've stayed stagnant, at the same weight, for the past week. I was losing more by not moving and just counting calories. This is frustrating to say the least! Any thoughts?

Whatever exercises you enjoy. Weight loss comes from eating less than you burn, so get acclimated to logging your food and make sure it's as close to 100% accurate as possible.

A week isn't very long at all, it could be anything effecting that. Water weight from increasing activity or just salt intake. If you're a woman, it could be that TOM. Also, as you lose weight, you need to change up your cal/activity goals... but it doesn't sound like you're really stagnant, not at a week.

Water retention from increase in exercise. Everybody calm down and stop panicking over every tiny blip in the scales.

Get your tape measure out - you may find you are actually slimmer but have built muscle (not over the last week, only, obviously!). Its quite common to see nothing for a week or two if you've had quite rapid weight loss to this point. A bog meal can kickstart you again. Also check you are still weighing/measuring your food accurately.

I have also increased the intensity of my workouts , keeping my heart rate elevated through the workouts , I figured I already gained back the muscle I have lost a few weeks ago , I am also stagnant in my loss.
I am eating more protein for the time I am at my desk and then add some fruits 1-3 hrs before my workout so that I have energy . no real snacking at night. plenty of water. about 1 gallon on workout days. and getting a little discouraged if I don't see a loss soon

I have been searching online for a weight loss program that isn't total bs. I have tried a few different programs before but when I felt like I wasn't getting the results I wanted to. And so many programs are all work out based and they don't give you a easy to follow diet. I tried Insanity a few years ago and I was excited when I started it but my diet wasn't matching the workouts and I didn't lose much weight at all. But I have just found a new weight loss program that I'm currently using and I wanted to share it with everyone. It's called the 3 week diet. I have been doing it for 2 weeks and I was lost 10 pounds! Very excited about and I hope you'll check it out too. I like it because its only 3 weeks long, so if you're like me and don't like long commitments this will be good for you too. Its worth at least taking a look at. Thanks everyone. Here's the 3 week diet http://3weekweightloss.life/week1

    Dude. No.
