Air Fryers - RECOMMENDATIONS NEEDED PLEASE :)

Hi all! I posted this in one of my groups, but thought maybe I could expand to the whole MFP community!
My dad has a heart condition and is on a strict no-oil vegan diet (which he just started kinda recently). I do almost all the cooking in our house and barely use oil or fry things anyway, but when I bake instead of fry I do still use some oil. He's been looking at air fryers for awhile, but especially recently. Does anyone use one or know someone that does? I'm looking for recommendations. Price isn't too much of an issue, but we do want to be reasonable. The biggest thing is we want it to WORK!
Thanks all

I really enjoy my actifry, I have had it for years and use it for plenty of things on a regular basis. I find that even though it says add a certain amount of oil, that most things turn out tasty without the oil so I don't add it. Plus it all comes apart easily and almost all of it can go in the dishwasher. Easy clean up is big with me!
Wishing your dad all the best1 -
I was thinking of purchasing one also but would rather know if it's worth the m9ney first0

I have one of these, my parents have one and we have a friend that we convinced to get one and we all use it on an almost daily basis. I definitely recommend!

Also, I use the air fryer so much that I very seldom ever use my oven anymore!0

I bought mine from QVC... love it! I like how everything comes out crispy without oil. And it had a larger basket, a 5qt but I think they sell one that's a 3.5qt.2

I found this http://www.philips.com.au/c-m-ho/airfryer in my Dad's house when he passed away and decided I needed to have it. It's terrific. Crispy oven fries in 15 minutes (hubby gets fries again yay). Does bacon, sweet potato chips, a whole range of things. Quick, easy and crispy food.2
