On average, how many lbs did you personally have to lose to drop a dress size?
I've personally only lost 8lb to date and haven't dropped a size yet, although I feel a lot more comfortable in my clothes.

I didn't pay attention.1

It varies from person to person and size to size. It took me about 25-30 pounds to drop my first size, and 10-15 when I hit my lowest weight.0

Same and even still, clothing sizes vary so much that I couldn't really take it into consideration. I'm 5'3" and started at 139 pounds. I was a size 4/S in most things. My lowest weight was 107 pounds, but now I'm 112. At both weights, most of my clothes are 0/XS . I get an occasional 00 at places like Target but they have ridiculous vanity sizing.0 -
I don't know if I've lost a size yet although I'm down 18 pounds. My clothes are all different sizes from different retailers and there are no standards in women's sizes. I do know that my pants fit better and one pair is falling off.0

I'm not a big dress wearer but I can usually tell in my pants size when I drop about 15 pounds. My loss happens first in my hips and abs then my bust and arms. It's weird the way my body carries and loses weight.1

50 to drop a pant size and even then I probably had no business in the smaller size but I just refuse to wear bigger anymore.0

I've lost 14lbs (154-140) and my 14s are looser, but 12s are still a little too tight0

It varies in size ranges. The difference between 18 and 16 was a lot more pounds than the difference between 2 and 0 (this is jeans, I haven't worn a dress in ages).0

The first 15 pounds lost took me from a 14 to a 100

I've lost 24lbs and gone from a UK 14 to a UK 8 (same style of jeans from the same shop) but I am not sure how many pounds it took for each size drop. The smaller you are, the less you need to lose to drop a size though I am a pear and lost from my thighs and butt first so my jeans are getting smaller faster than my shirts. I am not such a pear now though, more in proportion so I don't mind it so much!!0

Absolutely no idea.
Probably 2/3 of my clothes are from Canada which has a different sizing system than Australia. About 1/3 of my clothes are from Australia. And then I've got a few things from Europe just to confuse the situation a bit more.
And then there's vanity sizing which is more prevalent in Canada than it is here in Australia.
So on any given week, I'll wear anything from a size 8 to size 16 ... depending upon where I got the clothing item.0
