Hi, I'm wondering how many calories are in 1/3 of a package of lasagna from Trader Joe's, where the serving size is 220 calories for 1/4 of the package. I'm not very good at math, so if anyone could help me calculate the calories, that would be awesome! Thanks so much.

Take the total for the entire package and just divide by 3.

@mom22dogs @amyrebeccah Thanks guys! That helps, and the math makes sense! I guess my brain was a bit slow today. Lol.

It may not have listed total calories for the package--this is not a requirement in the US.

    OP, 220x4 is 880. 880/3 is 293.33.

Well, I'm sure it tells you how many servings and how many calories per serving doesn't it? If there are 4 servings and each is 400 calories, the entire thing is 1600 calories. It's really not hard even if it doesn't give you the calorie total for the entire box.

Hey guys, thanks for all the feedback and help! Just to be clear, one serving is 220 calories, and an entire package has 4 servings. So 1/3 of the package would be 293 calories.

@zachbonner_ Heh, it was good too and healthy! It was a vegetarian, multi-grain lasagna with fresh veggies.

Also, you can do this in "number of servings". In this case, serving size 1/4 tray, you want 1/3 of 4 servings... Type 4/3 into calc, get 1.333: Type that in as your number of servings and MFP does the rest.

@Wolfger Thanks for the tip! I didn't know MFP did that. I'm sure it'll come in handy in the future!
