60lbs to goal!

Hello all,
I started this journey last May with a all time high weight of 275lbs. I have managed to get down to 199.5 (75.5lbs loss!) and have another 60lbs until I reach my all time goal!
Looking for others in the same boat to help motivate me and keep me accountable! I am striving for a 2lb/week loss and praying I reach goal by Oct 15th! That would mean 135lbs in 17 months.
Hoping to pop on this thread each day, just to recap, and keep myself motivated.

I am sorry but this will come across as being negative, and you have done such a great job so far! But if you are dropping 2lbs/week that might be a tad aggressive if you are under 200lbs. What is your current daily calorie goals? And maybe think slower long term goals instead of trying to lose the last 64 pounds in less then 7 months, maybe start with smaller goals like 10lbs in 2.5 months because the closer you get to your goal the harder it will be to lose the weight. And you have proven it you are determined and you will do this, but the goal is also to keep it off and not let the number on the scale consume you and also to not beat yourself up about the number on the scale. If you don't want to hear this feel free to ignore me entirely, but I wish you the best in your journey:)0

I'm in a very similar boat...down 75+ so far and would like to lose another 60-75. I am aiming for down 60 more by the end of the year (for a total of 135 down) and my final goal of down 75 more (150 total) by April 2018 (my 30th birthday).0

Thank you, I have smaller goals, but I found I do best with an aggressive goal. I have lost 75lbs in about 10 months and im going to strive to keep up the pace. But I also know it may not happen and I am ok with that. Still work better under pressure though.1 -

Awesome! I turned 30 in December and I am determined to make 30 my best year ever, and what better way than to reach my goal weight?!
Great job on your loss!0 -
Welcome to Onederland
I'm about halfway thru to goal. I've lost 55 and have 45 to go. I would love to hit my goal this year0
