calories intake goal problem

I have a calories intake goal of 1900 calories per day and I need to lose weight, I eat normally healthy food and I never felt hungry, but my intake didn't exceed 800 calories in any day.
Is the calculation of 1900 calories intake wrong or what can I do?

Do you move a lot? If you are not hungry, your body doesn't need more. Or it gets used to these little amount of calories. Have you always eaten that little? I've talked to a doctor about a similar problem. He told me that your body goes into saving mode, if you have less than 1200 over a longer period. Natural protection from starving. My Tipp is: move more and make yourself hungry by working out, probably outside. If you eat 1300 then, with the workout you are still about 1000 under your goal. But the starving mode will disappear and the body starts burning which makes you lose weight... Good luck0

What did you eat? Give details about quantities, etc. I'm guessing it was more than you think. What about drinks, condiments, cooking oils, etc.? How much of what you ate was prepared by others?chitos_bacha wrote: »I have a calories intake goal of 1900 calories per day and I need to lose weight, I eat normally healthy food and I never felt hungry, but my intake didn't exceed 800 calories in any day.

There's no way you gained weight on 800 calories a day. I'm afraid you are/were eating more than you think. Have you tried weighing out portions with a scale?0
