Hi everyone! I am on a mission. I will be in a bikini by summer! I am new to myfitnesspal after a trainer in one of my workout classes suggested it. I can't even put into words how much I love it! I have been eating healthy/dieting for 2 weeks and I have been working out 1-2 times a day for the past week. I am taking a very hardcore approach to my goal and I am very determined to get back into all my clothes. I was always on the thin or skinny side (but not toned or very health minded in my eating decisions) but the past 2 1/2 years I have just packed on the weight. I am absolutely determined to fit back into my entire closet of clothes. I'm working very hard and enjoying every minute of it! I had no idea I could feel so great from making these changes and I'm really excited to see the results in a few months. My goal is to lose 62 lbs by June 1, 2017. Hopeful - maybe.. possible - definitely.

Welcome! You can look great in a bikini at any size. 62 pounds in 12 weeks will be impossible, sorry. But whatever you lose by then, you will be closer to your goal. Don't get discouraged, a healthy weight and fitness is a life long endeavor. Get it done while you are still young.2

You are beautiful! You can rock at bikini at any size hun but I admire your motivation! I am ready to lose some by summer as well. I want to feel good and be able to keep up with my kids on the beach more than anything. We can do this!1

My goal of 62 pounds in 12 weeks is probably a little ambitious, I agree. I will hopefully at least be close! It may take a little longer but I will be healthy and in shape too so either way it will be a win, win and I will get there eventually. I have always been too ambitious - but I have always impressed even myself with my results. I'm hoping this will be no different!0

Just trust the process...at most 5-10 lbs a month be healthy at first and then eventually 3-5 lbs a month as you get closer to goal. You can shed a lot of that 62lbs by summers and. Do you have a diet and a workout plan?0 -
I'm really just trying to get fit and loose weight. I am working out a lot (9 classes per week) and extra exercise and gym time. I am also eating only healthy foods, fruit, veggies and lean meats. I love the food/calorie counter on this site. Little by little I will get there. I feel much better already.0

Good luck! With how much you're exercising now don't forget to take measurements as well as stepping on the scale. You might start off looking a little smaller but not actually losing weight due to muscle gain.0
