I have gained weight after delivery and that's because I'm always hungry! I eat and crave more now than I did during pregnancy. I had a healthy pregnancy weight gain of 18 lbs. But now I can't lose anything and gained some.
I need help with dieting and how to control my cravings and my calorie intake. Any advice, meal ideas, and tips is greatly appreciated! I would love to be friends with any other breastfeeding mom's to share meal ideas!

You actually need MORE calories when you're breastfeeding than when you're pregnant. When you're pregnant, you need 300 extra calories per day, when breastfeeding you need 500 more calories per day! You don't want to cut too many calories because you don't want to affect your milk supply. Feeding your baby is the most important thing! Breastfeeding cravings are REAL! And they can be difficult to control, especially with the chaos of a new baby. Do your best to swap out unhealthy cravings with healthy substitutes, but allow yourself a little treat every once in a while. You are still technically still eating for two. Good luck!0

Am I wrong, or could the extra weight just be the added milk stores?1
