Hi, my experience here has been amazing so far and now I'd like to meet other girls that are close to my height (5'4) and do strength training, weight lifting, Crossfit, etc. because I'd like to exchange tips & advice. I'm just getting started with weight lifting and I'm really enjoying it. Crossfit has intrigued me and I'm sure I'll love it when I try it, but I want to hear from you! Tell me what your experience with it has been so far.
Thanks!
-Carolina

I'm 5'3 and love to strength train. I don't use barbels but use free weights (currently using 10/15 lbs). I love Jillian Michaels and Bodyrock.tv (you've got to check her out if you haven't already). My pull up bar is also my best friend.

I'm 5'3'' and just started working with a personal trainer and she's got me doing weight training. I'm GREAT at cardio, but now it's time to kick it up a notch and REALLY burn some fat!!

I am 5' 4 and I have been doing crossfit faithfully for two years. I have had great results and the program definitely works, I love that crossfit does not use machines and is different all the time. I continue to see my weightlifting skills improve as well my general athletic ability. We use a variety of ways to strength train and those incorporate, dumbbells, kettle bells and of course barbells and weights for the various lift types.

5'4" girl here too and avid Crossfitter! I go 3-4 times per week, have been for 10 months now. It has changed me, no doubt! I wouldn't have come as far as I did without it...it always gives me something to push for, stronger lifts, competitive times, etc.. I have doubled and tripled most of my lifts since starting, I've dropped body fat%, lost inches...it really just changed my mindset.

I absolutely LOVE lifting heavy!! It makes me feel amazing!

would love to try my hand at crossfit, but nothing like it around here and i don't have time for gym memberships.
i usually get in a pretty good kettlebell work out each day, but i am taking it easy right now since i have to work so many hours.
