Ab/leg exercises and muscle weight gain?

Would there be a noticeable weight gain from doing things like crunches and squats? I'm not totally hung up on weight- I track my measurements- but I was just wondering.

    I build muscle before I burn fat so squats make my legs huge and jeans tight. That's why I gave up roller derby training back in the day. I didn't want to have to buy new jeans.

    TL;DR I think it depends on the individual. LOL

    You can only gain weight eating in a calorie surplus. And as a female, you'll have a hard time building muscle at all, never mind if those are your only type of strength training.
