Hello,

I'm a former athlete who experienced, a lot of challenges after athletics was over. Found that spiritual & physical, wellness & fitness as my solution. I have found that fitness and wellness have afforded me a peace of mind, that I am eager to share and a zest for life that can't be quantified. My goal in joining MyfitnessPal is to join a community of individual that share a passion for wellness and fitness and bounce ideas, discuss schools of thought, experiences, etc. Personally I have worked with some of the best coaches in the track and field world. At my peak I was ranked in the world, which was a long time ago. Hindsight being 20/20, I wish I would've embraced my fitness and wellness then, that being said I really appreciate what I have learned and would love to share my experiences and continue learning more. I am open in discussing anything with exercise, nutrition, motivation, training philosophies and the fit life in general. I really look forward to making some lasting connections and making each other better.

Congrats on your past. I played football so old injuries prevent me from a lot of what I'd like to do to stay fit. I'd really love to find something fun that I can do regularly. I've done great losing weight but I need something to stay fit.

Thanks, I've experienced a lot of injuries in my past, also. After enough time off things seemed to have healed themselves. A vital mindset I incorporate in the weightlifting aspect of my fitness is "trust the process". My past is littered with moments when I just couldn't wait and I wanted to be 1 year stronger in a week. Crazy hindsight is.
