I'll start over Monday

I have recently gotten back in the gym and tracking macros after 8 months off. I have started and stopped several times this year telling myself "I'll start fresh Monday" when things have come up. I have a vacation coming up next week and I am determined to not fall back into this trap.

I used to be the same. My motto was always "I'll start fresh on Monday" and that led to uncontrollable binges, specially during the weekend. I'm slowly leaving that behind those habits, but it's obviously a long journey. Good luck to you, and enjoy your vacation. Maybe it's not such a bad idea to start fresh after your vacation.

I pick Tuesdays as my start back days. Gives me the Monday to ease into it.

I start back as soon as I see the need. 2pm, 2am, it doesn't matter.
Giving myself a start back date is a delaying tactic. I would rather start logging and log all the cals and know where I stand.

Been in maintenance for a few years and that is how I keep in maintenance.

    Cheers, h.
