I finally installed and updated (manually! wouldn't update any other way???) the trend app ( libra). Sadly, March is trending up. So this is my reality check, i have to rein in my snacking. It's tough though, got really relaxed about it, doesn't seem to affect my numbers negatively much, so i keep on indulging . But the graph is showing me where I'm heading with this. Need lots of strength and distractions.1 -

Success/struggles of the week: Dropped about 1.3 pounds (trendweight) this week...not trying to, but have been getting in 90 minutes walks this week, plus eating at what MFP calculates as maintenance. Am probably going to keep following MFP maintenance for next five weeks to see what that does, then will have a good baseline to manually adjust calories.

I have been holding pretty steady at 114, which is underweight for me so this is a good thing.5 -

Success/struggles of the week: Urgh! What a week. It started so well - Saturday saw my lowest weight since Christmas and my trend weight was slowly coming down - but then I went and blew it.... significantly. I struggle with keeping to a consistent daily calorie intake at the best of times, but I've been over more times than not this week, so what did I expect?!
On the up-side, my trend weight is still under the top of my range (just!), I know exactly what I need to do, I just need to focus and stop making excuses. Not feeling good today though3 -

Success of the week: Hmmm... In a negative head space today. Was a get steps/overeat rinse repeat kind of day, as my unstructured days and evenings tend to be. Just not good at enforcing my own structure as opposed to working with an external one.

How long in maintenance: 16 months, but I had some regain about 6 months ago, and am just now getting back to where I was then. I'd like to lose another 5-10 pounds over the next year, to get my BMI out of the overweight range. So not 100% maintaining yet, but there's not a huge difference between maintaining and very slow loss.

Success/struggles of the week: My anxiety has been really high the last couple of days. My guess is that most of it is due to change in routine; I am really a creature of habit. I've got another week before my routine will be restored. Happy with the slowdown in my weight loss, because it was preceded by two high-loss weeks. Not so happy with the amount of sleep I'm getting.2 -

Success/struggles of the week: Hey, Miss Maintenance, you rock! Struggles are many and real. Cold gone, yay, but my 96 year old mother's health has deteriorated very quickly over the last few weeks so I've stopped my morning gym classes to care for her. I also have some surgery looming in the near future which will keep me off my feet for a bit - meanwhile continuing with my 20,000+ steps per day, staying calm and carrying on. Hope everyone's week was better than mine!3 -
I haven't checked in for a while! I'll catch up a bit. I confess, I was frustrated. Looking back at Happy Scale, it was Feb 11 that my weight jumped up 2 lbs and it stubbornly stayed 2-3 lbs above goal range for a full month even though I went back to eating at a deficit for 3+ weeks.
Finally yesterday it dropped back where it belongs. Hopefully it will stay there.

Time it took to lose: Came off in stages. Lost about 23 lbs from Nov '15-Mar '16, then spent 10 months bouncing around 1-5 lbs above maintenance range before buckling down in Jan '17 to lose 5 lbs.
How long in maintenance: 2 days this time :tongue But I have at least maintained within 5 lbs of goal for a year.

Success/struggles of the week: I have been eating excessively over my calories this week still no upward trend on the scales. Only had one day when the scales went to 57.1kg then downward from there. Spent the weekend doing mostly nothing. Didn't even clock 14000 steps between Sat and Sun put together. All I can think is that I maybe loosing muscle mass and replacing with fat, athough going by my cloths they are only got a little tighter on my thighs while looser around my belly and hips?3 -

Success/struggles of the week: I have been operating at a calorie deficit for so long that I am not sure how to operate even. I rarely eat back workout calories and am not sure what to do with them. I have been slowly increasing my calories 100 calories per day, each week. Now I am at my bottom range and I am still not sure if I am at a break even or not.4 -

Late August 2016 I hit my lowest weight (scale 154.9lbs, trend 156.2lbs) and while waiting for a hernia operation, recently repaired, coasted into maintenance.

@adipace815. First congrats on your weight loss. Maintenance can be tough to figure out. MFP is not a great maintenance resource. You are smart to give yourself the 100 calorie wiggle room. A lot of us here spent months figuring out how to stop losing, some of us struggle to keep from gaining. You will find your happy medium. Best wishes and welcome.1

Success/struggles of the week: Well, would you look at that!? After my major wobble last week I'm back to exactly the same weight this morning as the previous two weeks - spooky! I am mightily relieved - perhaps I'm not so bad at this maintaining lark as I feared?!
Feeling good about most things this week - I increased my run distance, I finally ventured into the 'men's side' of the gym (although I can't take much credit for that, I only managed to force myself because the rack in the ladies-only room was already being used!), and I did well on reining in the snack cravings. All good!

Struggles/Successes of the week: I seem to be back on track after being derailed last weekend with my kryptonite food choice (pizza!). It just went downhill from there. I managed to get going again this week. I even sent myself a reminder on my phone to read on the way home from work (my hungriest time of day) of my goal for the week. I also read of others who drop their carbohydrates macro to help lose those last few lbs. I've upped protein and fat and I am more satisfied. Hoping to change my range to 125-130. Got to outsmart that water weight when I up my calories slowly2 -

Success/struggles of the week: What started as long process became a quick process. At the beginning of this process, I changed my portion sizes ad began working out. Then in October, I was diagnosed with throat cancer and during treatment I lost 60 pounds in the month of November. I have gained 10 pounds since February and want to maintain my current weight. My struggle right now is eating correctly to maintain my current level and gain fitness. Thanks.3 -

Success/struggles of the week: Kind of a rough week, physically and mentally, resulting in too much eating and not enough exercise. Good Saturday and start to Sunday, so hopefully a better week this week.3
