Anyone else named after a bad-*kitten* song?

May 3,1987 My dad loved Boston and the song Amanda, that had to be my name.

    THAT is awesome!!

    My cat's name is Jessica. I got her as a kitten. She wouldn't come out from the corner. Jessica by "The Allman Brothers" came on and she came out meowing. Too easy lol.

    There are so many good songs for names but I pretty much dig my song. The name, however, not so much..

    I was almost named after Roxanne by The Police. My Mom was cool with it because she thought I was a boy.

    Wrong. Then she didn't want to name her daughter after a prostitute song.

    Hence, my name is Rachel:)

    Roxanne is a badass song though :) Rachel is a good name, I don't think I have ever met a Rachel who wasn't cute.

    Mine is Bonnie. I was not named after a song but I always cringe a little when people hear it and immediately start singing "My Bonnie lies over the ocean"

    My name is Shannon and my mom got the name from some song about a lost dog. Ugh. haha Thankfully, no one knows the song really so I have never been asked. Actually, I get asked if I am Irish instead!

    My dad almost wanted to name me Ramona.... :|

    My mothere is named Melody so my sister and I are both named after songs, but I doubt either of them would be considered bad-*kitten*. I was named after the broadway tune: Once in Love with Amy and my sister, Kerry was names after the Irish folk song The Kerry Dancers or the Kerry Dance or the Days of the Kerry Dancers....can't remember which one. LOL
