According to my scale (a 20$ digital Walmart scale) I'm weighing 148-150 pounds and I'm 5'5 I used to weight 138 lbs with the same diet, work out, etc. there's no way I gained 10 lbs in muscle either. I pretty much look the same, in my opinion my stomach is flatter. I wear sizes 4-7 in pants, anywhere from xs-m in shirts and 5/6-8 in dresses. I just want to know how it's possible that I'm rapidly gaining weight due to the fact that I look the same and wear the same sizes and I'm doing the same thing.

Have you tried a different scale?

When did you last change the batteries? Some scales are notorious for doing wacky things when the battery is low.

Also, is this the same scale that weighed you at 138 lb previously?

Yes it is, which is why I don't understand. My dad came and weighed it and said it weighed him funky too. I've had it about a year and the batteries are fine. I also got weighed last May at the doctor at 138
