NEED TIPS

I weigh 157 lbs at 5'0, I'm trying to lose at least 3 lbs a week..does anyone have some great tips for a newby? I'm in desperate need!

You won't find anyone on here advocating for a 3 lbs/week loss. Even the app itself has the most aggressive weight loss setting as 2 lbs/week. Generally, most folks on here only support that for people with 75+ lbs to lose. I did set my goal at that and it gave me the minimum calorie goal for a women, 1200 per day. By generally sticking to that I have lost nearly 20 lbs since the beginning of January...halfway to my goal. Sometimes I do go over, go out to eat or have a little binge, but even going over I have been able to sustain a loss each week of at least 0.5 lbs. For a sustainable loss you are better off setting your sights a bit less aggressively so you are not depriving yourself and are able to stick with the changes in the long term.
Do you have an event or something coming up that makes you "in desperate need?"
