Can I add a picture to my recipes?

No. MFP apparently did not code the software for users to upload their own photos to the Recipe Tool. It is supposed to show the pic from recipe websites when you link to a recipe from another website, but I've never done that so I can't say for sure if it ever worked or if it still works for linked recipes.
You can follow the two-year old saga of the misguided "upgrade" of the MFP Recipe Tool from the Old Recipe Calculator (which is still available on the web version only) to the inferior (in my opinion) "New" Recipe Builder/Uploader.

Sorry for the delay in responding, I think I was expecting a notification for any replies and I don't remember seeing one. Thank you for taking the time to comment. I've discovered, since posting, that photo's from recipe links do indeed appear at the side of recipes analysed. I think it's a real shame that users can't post pictures of their recipes. Maybe one day in the future they'll update the code to allow the possibility.
I've considered a work around - but that would involve posting the recipe on a blog or something similar and I don't know if it would even work.
