Been on a low carb eating kick for one month, only lost 4 pounds and am extremely constipated. I have also added exercise. Don't understand why I'm not losing weight. I feel better though and my sugar is way down.

    Are your calories burned greater than your calories consumed?

    But you said you lost 4lbs? That's a pound a week, and if you're constipated, maybe more?

    Honestly there's not enough information in your post to be able to tell. How much exercise? How low are your calories, how much do you have to lose, etc etc. The important part is to not get frustrated and just keep doing your best.

    But you have had success, you have lost four pounds. Keep at it, eat more fibre and drink more water or get a gentle laxative to move things along. You must be doing something right if you have lost a pound a week.
