Yucky saggy arms, how to fix?

is there any way to fix yucky saggy arms? Ever since I was a child I've been struggling with my weight because of this my arms are now saggy and ugly. I went through yo-yo dietingI tried weightlifting and many other things and my saggy arms do not get firm. has anyone gone through this before have you fixed it? Can you help me please?
it's a real struggle especially when I would go clothing shopping. I have to go by the Isles of beautiful blouses with short sleeves and in the summer I try to hide my arms wood long sleeve shirts it's not comfortable. I just want to be normal. I was even mocked at work once since then I've never wore a long short sleeve shirt.

Hi Rodsteff, I too suffer from awful arms - I think partly it is genetic - I have seen women fatter than me with lovely skinny arms! My mum and my daughters all have big arms. The pundits say you can't spot-lose weight; so general weight loss would help (I need to do that again)! Also specific arm exercises that target those particular muscles, using weights? I will be interested to hear other's helpful ideas :-)1

Triceps dips are supposed to help. You can do them in a chair or on the floor. Google for more info plus there are videos on youtube. Here's one article:

Looking at your photo, you have extra body fat, and possibly some loose skin too. Exercises don't target either of those, sorry. Focus on overall fat loss. For strength training, follow a normal, full-body program, without adding extra arm exercises.

I cant wear a lot of sleeves in office type clothing cause me arms are too big so I tend to go for sleeveless. While my arms might look better in sleeves the overall look more sack like for me. It does amaze me when I see much larger ladies wearing the same shirt style and they have all this room around their arms under their shirt (I currently cant wear mine because my arms dont fit in it). When I was a teenager I was much more pear shaped and had great arms, I think because I worked at a supermarket lifting and packing a lot of groceries.
I've been doing a lot of towels racks, pushups (not full ones yet) and tricep dips lately and while I havent lost much in size my arms already look better as there is actually some muscle showing through.fitmom4lifemfp wrote: »Lose weight, and then do some strength training.

Agree with @30kgin2017 lift weights, a progressive compound lifting programme, and eat at a reasonable deficit, .5-1lbs a week. Eat plenty of protein to help retain the muscle you have.
This is a long term project so don't give up after 6 month. Look on a couple of years to see your best results. It takes time for skin to shrink, as much as your genetics allow, it also takes time to strengthen, while in a deficit, then build muscles while doing a recomp.
This may look as though it is taking too much time, but it is better than having the same arms 2 years from now- your whole body will look better too.

Progressive lifting. So an actual program and continue with your caloric deficit.0

I used to be 220lbs fat at 5'10-11" with saggy arms and a big gut. Now I'm the complete opposite after years of work. In order to get to a good base you have to cut away the fat first. It takes time but don't become discouraged.0

I am working with kettlebells (25lb) and omg my arms are defo changing for the better. I still have weight to drop but the kettlebells are defiantly helping to change my shape faster than the scale is moving.1

In all honesty there's not that much you can do unless you're willing to resort to surgery. Progressive weigt training will help build some muscle to fill the saggy skin and the skin itself may tighten up some over time, but there will most likely always be some saggy skin. Here's a pic of my arm, even though I now have some great muscle definition in my shoulder and upper arm, there is still a lot of loose flappy skin. Now I could hide this away under long sleeves but why should I? After loosing >100lb I don't really care that some people may not want to look at my flapping bingo wings.

I agree with another commenter that it's partly genetics. My mom has bat wings, my grandma did and so did I. I've tightened mine up with weight loss and progressive lifting. But don't expect instant results. I've been lifting for 4 years and it has tightened up somewhat but not completely. It's just been in the last 2 years that I've become comfortable wearing sleeveless tops.1

Your arms aren't yucky. They're normal! You should wear whatever kind of shirt you want. Ultimately, the lower your overall bodyfat % and the stronger your upper arms are, the more relatively "firm" they will appear. That said, just do your best to work hard, eat right and love the body you're in. Nobody's perfect (sure as hell not me).2

OP you are young so with exercise and keeping your weight under control you will probably get nice looking arms soon. That is one of the advantages of being young.
