Time to get my life back.

Long term GF left me when I needed her emotional support the most. Just found out that she was having an affair with her college anatomy professor, while I was at work. She says it's because I'm not home. So no I'm depressed and overweight, I'm currently 238 when I'm normally at 195. To make my life a little more complecated I dislocated me knee at work and now I can't be as active as I'm used to. It looks like I'll be on workers comp for at least 3 more months. During g that time and the lack of food I can offer I hope I can drop my weight back down.

I wonder if Wolfger responded to the wrong post
david - I'm the type that needs a complete focus. Since your activity is limited, I would personally consider looking into some of the whole foods or elimination diets. I have considerably less pains/inflammation by getting rid of some foods out of the diet.
Also - get sunshine, look into some yin yoga & meditation. It makes a difference on how you feel.
Believe me I was one to roll my eyes at all that stuff, but its made a difference for me.0 -
I'm sorry you ex wasn't deserving of you
Report her I would her professor isn't allowed surely ?
Weight it's just a number and your feeling abit low so your weight is playing on your mind
Take it one step at a time
So exercise is limited could you start swimming ?
Or do arm chair exercises ?
Find your calorie level to lose the lbs but enjoying what you eat have treats and filling foods
Set mfp settings at sedentary then if you can do any exercise eat 1/2 that back
Add me if you like I've 40lbs maybe 50 so in for the long haul1 -
First of all... the "you are never home" excuse is *kitten*, she is a cheater plain and simple, its who she is its what she does. Many people work a lot and crazy hours and manage to have loyal partners... Second of all, do NOT let this lying cheaters actions make you doubt yourself or your worth. I have degenerative disk disease, several herniated disk in my lower back as well as my neck. I also have degenerative joint disease and my ankles and wrist and every other joint in my body ache on the daily oh an a little aneurysm in my right carotid artery to my brain. There are so many ways to modify exercise around your pain/inabilities these days so don't get discouraged. Focus more on the foods you are eating and your portion sizes. Find an activity that gets you moving your body but doesn't cause too much pain and stick with it while you are out and on the mend. AND do not waste another thought on that lying cheat, Karma will find her don't you worry. Focus on you and your recovery!!! Best of luck!0
