Hello, my daily calorie goal 2280. I weighed 415 pounds when I started. I can honestly say that beer and soda was most of my caloric intake. I am down to about 355 now. I don't drink like I used to so this left a big void in my calories, I can barely eat 1500 and that's me feeling really full for the day. But I heard that I'd you don't eat enough, your body goes into survival mode and holds on to the fat. So I'm lost, need some help, any one of u ladies or gents can help??

The calorie goal isn't all that high.....google your TDEE (maintenance)......take 1,000 calories off of that.

If you can "barely eat" 1500 calories (the nutritional minimum for adult males) then you need to re-vamp some of your food choices. Calorie dense foods - small portions packed with lots of nutrition: http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10142490/a-list-of-calorie-dense-foods/p1

Do you use a digital scale to weigh solids & semi-solids and a measuring cup for liquids? It's possible you are eating more than you think.

Survival mode is not really a thing. You won't stop losing weight because you aren't eating enough, otherwise anorexics would never become rail thin.

Thank you, I don't have a food scale but I will get one, I always hit my ratio on macros. But never my macro goal, we'll sometimes my protein goal, but never my fat or carb. Again, thank you for your help
