Im 29 5 10 and went from 240lbs to 195lbs and besides moving from a 36 jean size and large T to a 32 and medium. My body doesn't look any different. I goto the gym 5-7 times a week and work out 4 out of the days, the others are strict cardio and pool. When will I start seeing deffinition, when will I see a buldge in biceps and a six pack. Ige been in a calorie deficit for over 4 months now, I'm eating healthy and right. When will I be more sculpted, another 10/20 pounds?

Did you take pictures? I didn't see the changes until I got really lean, but the pictures I took along the way were amazing. A lot of not seeing the changes has to do with seeing yourself every day. Our brains adjust to the small changes over time and make it so we don't see ourselves as different. It's a weird survival mechanism.

As for the bicep and six pack, those may be things you won't see until the very end. Unfortunately for most of us the belly is the last to go. Sounds like you are doing everything right, so keep it up!

There's a difference, you just told us. We sometimes get so use to seeing ourselves daily that we fail to see the changes over time.

As far as "sculpted" or definition, as you drop body fat that will come over time. Also I had to eat more calories and lift heavy to build muscle. However, my midsection seemed thicker when I bulked and building muscle took time. If this is your goal, you may want to read/research regarding building muscle.

    Keep up the good work.

I guess that makes perfect sence. I do look at previous pics and I can see a huge change in my gut and face. It's just these love handles and not so tight arms that are getting me. But I'm gonna keep up my hard work and take your advice. Thank you both so much

Sounds like you're doing somethings right. Are you still losing weight? Are you weight lifting? If you are, are you following a beginner's progressive overload program?

Yes I am losing roughly a pound a week. I don't have any special lifting reginmin. I usually work out one to two muscles a day the 4 days I lift and do 3 machines of one body muscle 4 sets of 10

Maybe you would feel even more productive following a lifting program? While I like making up my own I often find that following a program gives me better results. It's more motivating to me.
