Is this accurate?

I order a custom french toast sizzli from Wawa quite often. It's an Egg and Cheese French Toast Sizzli (no meat). The problem is, it's not listed in the database, and I can't find any website that would tell me how many calories the sandwich would be. However, a Sausage/Egg/Cheese French Toast Sizzli is listed as 540 calories. I also did some research and discovered that a wawa sausage patty has 231 calories. If I remove the patty from the SEC French Toast Sizzli calorie count as listed, that should leave me with 309 calories. Is that a fairly-accurate way to figure out the calorie count, or should I try to keep looking?

If unsure, as a general heuristic, I would err on the higher estimate.

WAWA has a calorie builder on their website. They claim it is only a guideline. Depends on the person making it. Being close to accurate is better than being way off.
    BTW, love WAWA, so convenient

    Yeah, I agree, very convenient!

And I checked that calorie builder, it's a great tool, but there's no way to do custom sizzlis that I've found.

I struggle with the same thing when I go for sams club pizza, it's best to look for similar foods or even overestimate. Like for example if I didn't know how many calories were in a normal medium slice of cheese pizza, I'd look up pizza hut's cheese pizza. Even it may not be as many, it's still better to play it safe.
