If you're shoveling by hand, that's a great exercise too! Keep up the good work!

Hello all! I'm new to MFP and am really loving it so far! Over the last two years I have lost 80 lbs but have gained some back and now want to stay focused and committed. The older I get the more I realize I will make this a lifestyle and not a "diet" So here is my first challenge! Oh I would also love some new friends!!

Heading off to the ski hill today with the kids. It's our Spring break but with the 25 cm of snow that we shoveled yesterday, it doesn't feel like Spring at all.

I am enjoying connecting with other members. Feel free to add me. I am new to posting and joining groups but am finding it helpful. Have great day everyone!

I am trying to make small, permanent changes. I exercise daily but wanting to improve eating habits, so aiming to cut out sugar most days, avoid snacking and not eat in the evening.

Was down to 220.4 about a month ago, then had a binge day and hadn't got back into it until yesterday. Looking to go to gym M, Tu, Th, F, Sa each week. Eating Paleo, which my M.D. recommended (diabetes t2, hypertension).

My usual weigh-in day is Saturday, so mine will kinda be a 6 week challenge starting today, weighing in tomorrow, and final weigh-in on April 29th. Is that ok?

    Let's do this!

I'd like to join! THE LAST FEW POUNDS ARE THE HARDEST. I've been plateauing for months....

    SW March 19: 121.2
GW April 30: 115.0 (hopefully lower honestly but this is ambitious yet realistic for the time frame and my body)

and don't be alarmed I have a pretty tiny and short frame haha.

30 minutes cardio with 10 minutes strength today wt-191lbs. Just 0.5 lbs weightloss I am calorie deficit of 1750 cals last week. Using a HRM I noted that doing strength, climbing stairs gave me like a 65 calorie burn for 13minutes while treadmill at about 3.7mph and 3 % incline was 90-100 cals.
