Hi Everyone!! I am returning to MFP after putting on almost 120 lbs since 2010. I am a college student and am struggling to find healthy lunch ideas that do not require being refrigerated or warmed up. Any suggestions?

Make a batch of soup - keep it warm in a flask. Made from scratch you can pack with veggies.

You could make or get premaid salads and stick them in a lunch box with an ice pack. Or sandwiches/wraps?

Try healthy nuts...and fruit. One of my faves is a small bowl of dry roasted peanuts and raisins...equal proportions. Full of protein and fiber and gives you a full feeling and lots of energy.

Fruit, sandwiches, wraps, salads, bars like home made granola/jam bars

Ploughman's lunch: bread, cheese, fruit. My grandfathers and their father's lived on them when an ice pack was unheard of. I can eat an English muffin, a mozzarella stick, and an apple for 300ish calories. You could trade out the cheese for Tuna to Go or Chicken to Go which don't require refrigeration, but I don't need a fork for the cheese.
