Happy National Junk Food Day!?

According to MSN, today is National Junk Food Day . I celebrated it by eating the only junk food remaining in the house after The Great Purge, a brown sugar cinnamon Pop Tart. Only one, like the serving suggests and I still made sure I didn't eat over my calorie limit. This "holiday" recognition made me realize how much my body was changing, since I couldn't finish it all because it was too sweet and I didn't NEED the sugar like when I used to crave it. There was a time when I considered the feeling impossible.

What junk food do you miss? What kind makes you cringe to eat now? What kind do you still allow yourself in moderation?

Sometimes when I drive past a McDonalds and smell the french fries, I do miss them. Then I remember all the youtube videos I watched where the french fries never go bad - ever - and I get over it! I'm not sure what others consider to be junk, but I still have an addiction to our local frozen custard place and frequent it about twice a month.

That's the same with all fast food. I used to work at a DQ, and even though it's 100% ground beef in thir burgers, no fillers or whatever, it still doesn't 'go bad' when it gets old, same with the processed cheese, and the fries (as mentioned already) it all just dries out... never goes moldy.... as soon as I saw that, I stopped eating it.

I bet this Junk day was created over facebook by some lonely person. I dont follow these things if there is nothing behind them. Now, if it ws eat a chocolate bar and so and so donates a buck to a charity then i might be interested.
