Do Pharmacies Digital Scales Give Incorrect Readings?

I'm under the impression the digital scales in pharmacies, always give the incorrect readings. I think the more you stand on it, the more it will give wrong readings. Am I right?

    Most scales aren't actually terribly accurate. You should use the same scale in the same place with the same type of clothing (or none) every time you weigh yourself and track your trends.

    Free test equipment outside of pharmacies can receive lots of abuse. I doubt you can generalize, though I've never found the auto blood pressure cuff to be very accurate.

    It won't be the same as any scales you use in other places because you are wearing different clothes and have eaten different things. As noted above, they're probably not maintained or calibrated particularly well.
