I have lost 50lbs and still drink soda's. They are just diet now instead of wasting calories on regular soda. Either give it up, log the calories and eat less (don't recommend that) or learn to love diet.

Don't bring it into the house

One of the best things you can do is stop calling it an addiction, imo. Calling it an addiction gives it power over you, it gives you an excuse to keep drinking it 'because you can't help it'. You're not addicted, you just really really like it. There's nothing wrong with Pepsi, anyway. Like AverageJoeFit said, either switch to diet and drink all you want, or fit a small amount of full sugar pepsi into your day - or stop drinking it altogether. Those are your 3 options.

I cut down until I was drinking only a can a day, then switched to diet

Work out what you enjoy, I like the bubbles so I switched to mineral water with a dash of lemon juice.

Thanks for the tips. Insightful and keeping it out of the house will certainly help
