I have a gym membership but I'm unable to go lately. I was wondering if anyone had success strength training and toning by using tension bands and lighter free weights at home.

You can even be successful with bodyweight exercise. Check out You Are Your Own Gym.2

I started with dumbbells at home that went up to a max of 25 and now I'm lifting 35 - 40s. I haven't set food in a gym in over a decade and the last 2 years lost 50 lbs and have been stable recomping for 1 year. Yes it is possible2
