How can I eat all of the calories I'm supposed to?

I've been diagnosed as being pre- diabetic. My mom is diabetic, and I've been having more issues that point toward diabetes. Question: My Dr put me on an 1800 calorie diabetic diet. I am still reading as much as I can about this disease and how to eat, but, so far I have not eaten all of the calories I'm supposed to, and, if I eat when I'm not hungry, it just sets me off on an eating binge. I would appreciate any insight as to how to get all of the calories in, without eating unhealthy foods!

Please make a follow-up appointment with your doctor and express your concerns to him/ her.

Eat your calories find healthiest foods and have a couple treats .... If your scared you'll binge just save some calories so you can eat something when your feeling weak
I don't feel you need help this is very common from people that use food as a comfort you just have to find another way to get comfort like taking a walk read chat to friends
Those who've not suffered comfort eating say go see professionals when all professional will say if you need to find ways to work around why you binge and comfort eat
If you can't stop binging of course see a doctor but lots yoyo dieters yoyo as this reason they use food to medicate
