If every day were like today....

then you'd weigh *** in 5 weeks.

Does this work for everyone else? Mine always tells me that but even keeping my days the same and my results being +/- 1 pound of each other, I am not weighing in where this thing says I should.....any thoughts?

    I've never actually checked.

    I'm actually fairly horrified by the idea of "If every day were like today...," probably why I don't think about it much.

    it isn't accurate. There are several things it doesn't take into account. It strictly looks at cals in vs cals out. It doesn't take into consideration water intake, plateaus, etc.

    I don't think their numbers are meant to be definite. They are only estimates, and everyone's metabolism, etc are slightly different. I would not be too disconcerted if you do not meet their "expected" weight.

    I like it because it motivates me but I take what it says with a grain of salt. Too many other factors involved. Not everyone loses at the same rate.

    It's meant to be motivational, I think, at least when you're doing well.

    For me, it serves as a motivator. It's not reliable data, but it's an obscure number I can aim for.

    I ignore it.. it told me today that if every day were like today I'd weigh 143.5 pounds in 5 weeks.. um I currently weigh 157 and am 7 pounds away from my goal.. I highly doubt I'd drop 14 pounds in 5 weeks.. heck, I doubt I'll even drop 5 pounds in that span of time because I'm trying to take these last 7 pounds pretty slow.
