I'm trying to get back on track with my weight I'm currently 5 months postpartum. With my first one I lost the weight super quick and without trying, this time around I need to work at it (bummer lol)
How many "extra" calories should I allow for exclusively breastfeeding?
I'm not doing much excercise because it can decrease my milk supply and I've already noticed a bit of a drop.
Thanks in advance

I'm right there with ya. I'm 9 months post partum and exclusively breastfeeding. Every time I cut calories my milk says adios. So I'm stuck at 160lbs and 5'5". Not that sexy. No supplements have ever helped me. I do still take my fish oil, dha and prenatal with iron. But nothing to "boost" supply. I have been sticking around 1800 or a little more when I'm more active and my milk has been fine. But if i were to go down anymore if probably lose my milk. But where I'm at i have to start weaning my little babe off soon. He will be 1 year old in june!
