Feeling good about my progress. I've been more successful this time around thean any other time I've really tried using mfp. I've been getting more creative with my healthy meals, which avoids the "diet boredom". I'm extremely irritated with water weight, and I really need to only get on the scale once a week. I just set myself up for disappointment when I weigh myself twice in 3 days and see a 3 lb gain. I know I didn't gain 3 lbs of fat in 3 days, when my deficet has been consistent, but that damned scale is a taunting beast just sitting there glaring at me in the bathroom corner.

I suffer from wanting to step on the scale often as well. Good for you and your spectacular success thus far. Keep up the great work.1

I would have a friend/SO hide the scale that way they have to get it out for you and you cannot weigh yourself often like that. I do not have a home scale so I can only weigh myself at work. that helps a lot.0

I have my official weekly weigh-in, first thing in the morning and I've avoided excess salt for a couple days. I know I'm hitting my calories so any fluctuation must be water. When I weight other days and at other times, I try to guess in advance how much water I've added, or how much my clothes are adding. I don't take the results seriously.0
