Any input on which foods are best to eat at lunch and supper? A list you have run across?

I keep a stash of frozen veggies (non sauced versions) in the freezer since they can help bulk out a meal without adding a ton of calories. I also keep some pre-cooked chicken breast frozen too, for the same reason.

I cook all of my lunches on sunday for the week: A bag of baby carrots or frozen broccoli goes onto a sheet pan with some seasonings for 20-30 minutes (about 400 degrees) until tender. A large pot with some mixed veggies gets steamed with a pat of butter on the stove. I cook chicken breasts in a pan on the stove. I divide it across 5 containers and put it in the fridge. Takes about an hour for those 5 meals (I do it for myself and my fiance, so about 2 hours for me)

Low fat foods are lean meat, fish, other seafood, egg whites, vegetables, fruits, grains, pulses, low fat and fat free dairy.
Low sugar foods are meat, fish, other seafood, eggs, grains and starchy vegetables, pulses, nut and seeds, butter and oil.

The foods that are best to eat at lunch and supper are foods that you like and have access to, in amounts that fit into your calorie goal.

Do you have any dietary requirements? Be careful when you plan your meals. Read labels.

There are no lists. If you want a list, ask the person who told you there'd be a list.
