Hello, seeking help in the struggle to lose this over fifty weight gain. My discipline to exercise is great but these cravings and snacking is out of control. HELP! I hate menopause. :(

Hi. I'm back to MFP....menopause has kicked my butt as well! Trying to find the motivation to exercise ( I always fell better after!), however, not sure what happened there!!! How did you get your motivation!!!!???

I live in San Diego it's pretty much always nice here. I've always worked out to relieve stress and for energy. But I'm working out more now, eating bad and losing nothing. What do you like to do maybe a gym isn't your thing.

I'm in the same boat as both of you. I did recommit to working out...I just made myself go...after you go the first time...it's easy to go the second, third, etc....it's just that first time. I am trying to watch what I eat..but do get the cravings as well. I've resorted to keeping almonds close at hand...but they sure don't help with the sugar cravings.

for some workout is a dirty word. It really depend on what you like. I brought a bike I always enjoyed it as a child and it doesn't seem like exercise. Walking is always good if you can get outside with some great music, dancing to your favorite upbeat song. Start slow maybe 15-20 minutes a day twice a week. Make it fun you will stick to it. Good luck.
