Calories in a SMALL avocado?

I can't find it in the database.
You know those really small avocados from Mexican grocery stores that can almost fit into the palm of your hand? I would like to know how many calories those are

    Weigh it after you pit it and use an entry by weight.

    According to the USDA, an average California avocado (which I believe are the small, dark bumpy ones, as opposed to the large, bright green, smooth-skinned Florida avocados) is 227 calories. So if yours are even smaller than that, I'll guess you'll have to make a judgment call: is it 2/3 the size of a California avocado? 3/4 the size?

    OK. The 227 calories from the USDA site is for 136 g of avocado flesh, so if yours are the 60 g minis that livinglean is talking about (for comparison, I would think we're talking about something the size of a plum or apricot or mandarin orange), it would be 100 calories.

    Food scales are under $15. You don't want to have to ask for every single item of food you're eating :)

    I get a 4 pack of avocado's every week and they average 75g without pit and skin. But I would definitely think that 75-100g is a good range to estimate. And until the OP gets a food scale, over estimating might be beneficial.
