Newcomer to the support group... losing weight not so much...

Hello! Like some of you I'm sure, it's not your first time in the losing weight game. I'm someone who can lose weight very well... a little too well on ristrictive diets then sabotage in a couple of months. I have used this app before and it has worked. Then stopped for some reason. But I'm back on as I'm determined to not let bed (binge eating disorder) take over my life anymore. This past week I have struggled as my mind is looking for the answer. Having the self belief that I can do this myself and that I deserve to look the way I want to is something i have deep within and I'm determined to find that self love as well as lose the weight I have put on from binging! Any advice or support you can give I would really appreciate! Sarah xx

    Hi Sarah ! I'm glad your in to win. I too have binged a time or two too many and am now back for the duration. My suggestion is simple yet complex. Be aware. Practice mindfulness. Watch out for extreme emotions like anger or even elation as these can be triggers for your binge eating episodes. Sometimes, I'm needing one thing and "crave" something like sugar instead. Oftentimes, simply drinking water helps. Try to sleep on a regular schedule and get your exercise for sure !
    Journaling can uncover answers to past failed attempts at maintaining your plans to lose weight and perhaps you will discover the things that work in your favor !!! Good luck and God bless you.
