2 weeks calories and steps tracking competition - Only 30 places available.

Starts Monday 20 March 2017

If you're interested, please post message saying you'd like to compete. Only 30 places available. First come first served.

I'm thinking of having a competition where we log our daily net calorie consumption and number of steps taken. And you get awarded points daily depending on how you've done.

We do this for 2 weeks and at then end we add up all our points and find out who the winner is. (No prizes unfortunately. Apart from knowing you've had an awesome two weeks)

So here's the rules and information you need:

1. You must log your daily net calorie consumption and the number of steps taken. Please make sure you log your stats the following day, between 6am-9pm (U.K time)
2. Please correctly calculate the number of points you have achieved using the points scale below
3. Post your stats in the same layout as the example below
4. If you fail to log your stats or log them late, you will not be awarded any points.
5. No cheating. Please be honest as cheating only means you're cheating no one but yourself.


So here's an example of how your post should look:

Calorie allowance: 1400
Net calories consumed: 1450
Points for calories: 1
Steps taken: 6000
Points for steps: 2
Total points: 3


Points scale:
Below calorie allowance: 3 points
Over calorie allowance by 100 calories or less: 1 point
2500-4999 steps: 1 point
5000-9,999 steps - 2 points
10,000 steps or more: 3 points

    Hmmm... maybe it wasn't clear. I've edited it now and extended the window for logging.
    You log your daily stats the next day, between 6am-9pm.

    I stated U.K. due to the time logging constraints. But I'm sure you can easily work out the U.K time and log within the timeframe stated in the rules.
