with the tracking...which definitely helps, I find myself thinking about food all of the time! Doesn't help when you are trying to cut calories and lose some weight!!! Any suggestions!?

Try to keep your thoughts directed on a path that will help you stay focused on your goals. For instance, if you're thinking about how you wish you could eat a certain something that might not be so good for you, redirect your thoughts to examine what it is about that particular food that makes you like it, and then challenge yourself to find a cleaner, healthier source for the same experience. It helped me a lot because it reminded me why I'm doing it in the first place and I ended up learning so much in the process. It also helped to set me up for successes in times of temptation because after enough time had passed I had an immediate go to because I had already been looking it up. Hope this helps. You're going to do great!0

Set a timer for food times and then don't think about it. That way you know your phone will go off when it's time to eat and you won't be glancing at the clock every 5 minutes0

No problem as long as the food is on your mind all the time and not in your mouth all the time. Planning good meals take time and attention, and looking forward to eating is (almost) as pleasurable as eating.1

I think about food a lot of the time. It's normal for me, so I don't see an issue with it.1

Same. I think about food a lot. I think about if I'm hungry or not. If I'm hungry, HOW hungry? Am I hungry enough to wait until lunch time (60 minutes from now)? Am I hungry enough to wait for dinner? Is it time for my snack yet? Is 140 calories too much for snack if I want XYZ for dinner? How else can I combine food for a 250 calorie breakfast. I wonder if this food will make me poop before my next weigh in?
Yep. I think about food a lot. It's working for me...I've embraced it as a hobby...3 -
It might help to set up a meal plan for more frequent meals. Also, it might help to chew gum if thinking about food makes you crave it more.0

No suggestions because I am the same! Always hungry, always planning when I can eat again and what I can eat!2

I always think about food. What will I eat? When will I eat? How many calories do I have? What dessert sounds good? Why is my protein so low? Did I save enough for my prebedtime snack?0

Consider batch cooking so you do not have to prepare food as often.1

I have thought about food alot less since I started prepping 90% of my weekly meals beforehand and doing IF.0

being necessary for life, I think it's pretty normal to think about food a lot. thinking about and looking forward to your next meal is fine.. it's only a problem if you head to the fridge every time you think about it.1
