Hi, I have done about 70 days now. No cheating. I have lost just over a stone but last 2 weeks have hardly lost. I am doing at least 3 2km walks a week. I don't always hit 1200 calories as the fats, sugars, carbs etc are already blown! Any tips or suggestions to get to my magic target?

Not sure there's quite enough info to help. The last few pounds come off S-L-O-W. Agonizingly slow. You have to be 100% sure of your calorie intake, as well. A food scale is necessary for this.

Unless you are very short or older, you need at least 1200 calories per day to provide enough nutrients to your body.

As for blowing your fats and carbs (sugar is a carb, no reason to count it twice unless medically necessary), build your meals around your protein first.

Other than that, you can try to troubleshoot yourself from this chart:

I'm down to my last 4lbs, and I'm lucky to lose 0.4lbs a week, if that... And it's not regular/linear either, I might go 2-3 weeks of going up and down, then get a random drop on the scale.

Download a weight trending app to give you a clearer picture, I use trendweight.

    Phone apps:

    Libra- Android
    Happy scale- i-phone.

Thanks folks. I am 5ft3 and 131lbs trying to get to 126lbs. I weigh everything on kitchen scales and count all calories. I am watching my calories, fats, saturated fat, carbs and sugars. So some days I have 200 calories left by evening but don't know what to eat as to not go over on my carb and sugar intake. I am not diabetic so should I not be worrying about the sugars? I have a sweet tooth so I am forever craving chocolate!!!! Also, is it ever a goal to have a flat tummy after 2 children? I have abs but still have a belly when I sit down. I'm lovely when I lay flat lol

Ya why not have some dark chocolate at the end of the day as a treat if you have calories left over?

I haven't had kids but I see so many moms on here with flat stomachs ao I know it's possible. The most impressive results I've seen are from people doing fairly heavy lifting (with a program like Stronglifts 5x5.
